In 2025, communicating about sexual and gender-based violence responsibly is an essential ethical commitment. The media play a key role in how society perceives and responds to this issue, so an informed and sensitive approach is vital to avoid re-victimization and stigmatization.
Thanks to the support of the Swedish Cooperation, workshops and training spaces for journalists have been held, consolidating a committed network. The second edition of the magazine "Un nuevo y urgente abordaje periodístico" (A new and urgent journalistic approach) was born from this work, which gathers contents to promote an ethical and profound communication on sexual violence and its consequences, always putting the victims at the center and promoting justice and respect.
