At Ipas Bolivia, we firmly believe that access to sexual and reproductive health should be available to everyone, regardless of their location or circumstances. Through our Community Access area, we work directly with communities to ensure they have the information, resources, and support necessary to fully and safely exercise their sexual and reproductive rights.

Training of Community Agents
We train leaders and community agents committed to Sexual and Reproductive Rights (SRHR) and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), who play a key role in promoting rights and preventing violence in their communities.
The agents provide information and support on topics such as access to health services, contraceptive use, Legal Termination of Pregnancy (ILE), and support for victims of sexual violence.
These leaders also disseminate key information about Constitutional Ruling 0206/2014, which establishes rights and protections in cases of legal abortion in Bolivia.

Support for Victims of Sexual Violence
Through our community network, we offer support and assistance to women, adolescents, and girls who are victims of sexual violence.

Promotion of Rights Through Information Campaigns
We develop awareness and educational campaigns in communities to ensure that women and girls have access to clear information about their rights, contraception, and the prevention of unwanted pregnancies and unsafe abortions.

Network of Alternative Masculinities
These alternative masculinities seek to break the stereotypes that perpetuate sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and create spaces where men and boys can learn to engage with women and their surroundings in a healthy and respectful way. This intervention is key to fostering a deep cultural shift that promotes equality and prevents violence at all levels of society.
We work with men and young people in communities to promote alternative masculinities that challenge harmful gender stereotypes. Through workshops and discussion groups, we challenge traditional gender roles and foster a culture of respect and gender equity.
These activities include supporting campaigns that raise awareness about the importance of gender equality and the prevention of sexual violence in schools and communities.

Education
One of our key actions in the educational field is the training of the educational community, including teachers, parents, and community agents, to prevent Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and foster safe environments for girls, boys, and adolescents.
This comprehensive approach not only strengthens knowledge but also creates support networks within the community, ensuring that everyone has access to the information and skills needed to prevent violence and promote gender equality.
