President Luis Arce pledged to fight against violence and sexual abuse against women and children by strengthening institutional sanctioning mechanisms.

In his message, in commemoration of the 198th anniversary of Bolivia’s independence, the President urged justice operators not to hinder the implementation of measures against these crimes.

The accused was captured in Ivirgarzama, where he was hiding from justice. The victims are sisters. The police will investigate his cover-up.
