In February 2026, Ipas Bolivia was announced as the winner in the Social Impact Video category of the Ragan Video, Visual & Virtual Awards 2025, an international recognition given by Ragan Communications to outstanding initiatives in video, visual design and digital engagement. The award was given for the short film It’s Not Lovea production that makes child, early and forced marriages and unions (MUITF) visible as a form of gender-based violence that violates the rights of girls and adolescents in Bolivia.
Ipas Bolivia is very happy to celebrate this recognition, which reaffirms the importance of communicating to transform narratives. No es No es Amor tells Carmen’s story and, through her experience, addresses how MUITFs interrupt life projects, perpetuate cycles of inequality and limit the exercise of Sexual and Reproductive Rights (SRHR), while at the same time making visible the work that Ipas Bolivia does to prevent these unions and strengthen the protection of girls and adolescents.
The video was produced in the first half of 2025 as part of Ipas Bolivia’s visibility and institutional marketing campaign, with the support of the Marketing and Visibility 2025 competitive fund, awarded last year by Global Communications to strengthen strategic communication actions. After its launch as part of this national campaign, the piece was nominated for the Ragan Awards and today receives this international recognition, consolidating the institutional positioning of Ipas Bolivia in the international agenda of communication with social impact.
