As part of Bolivia’s Bicentennial celebrations, on October 29, the Human Rights Commission of the Chamber of Deputies of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, led by Congresswoman Betty Yañiquez, awarded Ipas Bolivia the “Illimani Majestuoso del Bicentenario Award” in recognition of its contribution to human development, gender equity and the promotion of Sexual and Reproductive Rights (SRHR) in Bolivia.

The event took place in the facilities of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly and was presided over by Congresswoman Betty Yañíquez, president of the Human Rights Commission, who stressed the importance of valuing the work of institutions and individuals who contribute to the collective welfare of the country.
