This Saturday, December 14, Ipas Bolivia, with the support of the Canadian Embassy and in strategic alliance with the Bolivision Network’s “Open Your Eyes” campaign, actively participated in the International Fair of La Paz (FIPAZ) 2024. This participation was part of the “What time is it?” campaign, with the objective of informing and raising awareness on key issues such as Sexual and Reproductive Rights (#SHRR).

During the fair, the interactive game “Reloj Roulette” of the “What time is it?” campaign was presented, an educational tool that provided attendees with information in a participatory and entertaining way. Through this activity, fundamental issues such as the Legal Interruption of Pregnancy (#ILE), Comprehensive Sexual Education (#ESI), the prevention of Sexual and Gender Violence (#VSG) and the urgent need to depatriarchalize social structures were addressed. Adults, adolescents, girls and boys participated actively, showing interest and gaining knowledge on the topics discussed, which made this experience an enriching space for all ages. This activity not only managed to capture the attention of a large audience, but also generated spaces for reflection and conversation about the DSDR, promoting a culture based on respect, equality and commitment to a more just society. It also highlighted the importance of healthy masculinities as a transformative axis for the prevention of violence.

The strategic alliance with the Bolivisión Network through its “Abre los ojos” (Open your eyes) campaign has been a fundamental pillar in amplifying the reach of these actions, making issues related to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) visible and raising awareness among diverse sectors of the Bolivian population.
Ipas Bolivia and the Bolivisión Network reaffirmed their commitment to continue working together through 2025. This joint effort seeks to expand access to sexual and reproductive health information and services, as well as to generate a profound cultural change that promotes gender equity and the eradication of all forms of violence.
