As part of its commitment to innovation and access to reliable information on <\/span>Comprehensive Sex Education<\/span> (ESI), on July 10, Ipas Bolivia officially launched\u201cUTUTUY. <\/em><\/span>\u201cHow Wonderful It Is to<\/em>Know\u201d<\/span>, a digital educational tool developed by the Guardianas del Poder Warmis team, winners of the Sexual and Reproductive Rights Hackathon organized by the institution in March of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/ipasbolivia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/DSC08591-1-scaled.png” title_text=”DSC08591 (1)” _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n In conjunction with the launch of UTUTUY, the event brought together representatives from public and private entities as well as civil society organizations, who toured an exhibition of technological proposals developed by the various Hackathon teams at DSDR, such as: <\/span>Sentinel, Vig\u00eda GG, Ciclo Vivo, Chachawarmi, BIT, and Yera.<\/span><\/i> This event facilitated constructive dialogue for strategic partnerships, coordinating efforts that use digital innovation as a driving force to democratize knowledge about Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) among younger generations.<\/span><\/p>\n UTUTUY is a digital educational resource that offers dynamic content on comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) based on scientific evidence. This platform addresses crucial topics such as consent, healthy emotional relationships, the elimination of violence, and comprehensive reproductive health care. Adaptable for both school and teaching environments, the tool ensures functionality in various contexts thanks to its offline access capability. <\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=”6241,6244,6247,6250″ show_title_and_caption=”off” show_pagination=”off” _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” dbdb_version=”5.4″ dbdb_show_in_lightbox=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_gallery][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The initiative comes at a time when Bolivia continues to face challenges related to teenage pregnancy and sexual violence. Between 2020 and 2023, the Ministry of Health reported 147,876 pregnancies among girls and adolescents\u2014an average of 101 per day. <\/span><\/p>\n During the event, the UTUTUY development team presented the process of creating the tool and shared the key lessons learned during its pilot implementation.
