background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"339\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This April 1, 2026,<span> the Municipal Council of <\/span><strong data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"197\">Cobija, capital of the department of Pando<\/strong><span>, unanimously approved the bill that declares September as the &#8220;Month of Awareness and Prevention of <strong>Early and Forced Child Marriages and Unions<\/strong> (MUITF)&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"341\" data-end=\"553\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The initiative was promoted with the support of <strong>Ipas Bolivia<\/strong> and led by Councilwoman Giovanna Castedo, consolidating a key advance in the protection of the rights of children and adolescents in the municipality.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"339\">[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/ipasbolivia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-04-01-at-20.00.00.jpeg&#8221; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"684\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the main provisions of the regulation, which will be enacted in the next few days by the municipal executive, the following stand out:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"1631\">\n<li data-section-id=\"sjjyai\" data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"803\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The institutionalization of September as a month dedicated to awareness and prevention of MUITF in Cobija.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"gn1bv8\" data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"971\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is based on the Political Constitution of the State, international treaties and Law No. 1639 (2025), which prohibits marriage and unions before the age of 18.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"6ar9ga\" data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1124\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recognition of the impacts of MUITFs, such as teenage pregnancies, violence, school dropouts and reproduction of poverty cycles.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"af9l4c\" data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1265\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The creation of an Annual Awareness Program, with information campaigns, educational workshops and actions to promote rights.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1316n2y\" data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1392\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The implementation of a Single Municipal Route of attention and denunciation, under the responsibility of the Childhood and Adolescence Ombudsman&#8217;s Office.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1q6kxrw\" data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1539\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The creation of a Municipal Inter-institutional Prevention Board, with the participation of public institutions and social organizations.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1tly9e0\" data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1631\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Budget allocation and regulation of the law within a maximum period of 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=&#8221;5798,5795,5801,5804&#8243;
