The activity marked the beginning of the 8th Meeting of the RMAB, held from November 21 to 23 in the same municipality, promoting self-care practices, healthy masculinities, co-responsibility and prevention of violence. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Both activities were held in commemoration of International Men&#8217;s Day (November 19), with the participation of the five Bolivian Active Masculinities Networks, present in the departments of La Paz (including the El Alto network), Sucre, Tarija, Potos\u00ed (including the Llallagua network), Cochabamba and Cobija. The RMABs are networks of young activists, promoted by Ipas Bolivia for the past five years to strengthen the capacities of adolescents and youth in the promotion of healthy masculinities and the prevention of violence. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/ipasbolivia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/C4728T01.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;C4728T01&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>The Fair &#8220;Men for Reproductive Justice: Masculinities that Care&#8221; brought together social organizations, allied institutions, local authorities and youth networks from all over the country in an interactive space that served as a prelude to the meeting. The Active Masculinities Networks reaffirmed their role as key actors in promoting equality, equity and co-responsibility. Desde la plaza principal de Sacaba, se brind\u00f3 informaci\u00f3n, recursos y herramientas para reflexionar sobre el rol de los hombres en los Derechos Sexuales y Derechos Reproductivos (DSDR) y su corresponsabilidad en la prevenci\u00f3n de las violencias.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<em>Recibimos la valiosa visita de Ipas Bolivia y de j\u00f3venes l\u00edderes en el Octavo Encuentro de Masculinidades. La feria tambi\u00e9n incluy\u00f3 espacios l\u00fadicos con los juegos Men at Work y Sex\u00f3polis, as\u00ed como la proyecci\u00f3n de cortometrajes elaborados por j\u00f3venes de las RMAB, materiales que formar\u00e1n parte del Manual de Capacitaci\u00f3n en Masculinidades Saludables y Justicia Reproductiva, una herramienta <em>formativa para fortalecer el trabajo de las redes.<\/em><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cEstamos en el Octavo Encuentro de las Redes de Masculinidades Activas de Bolivia, un espacio abierto que busca dialogar con la poblaci\u00f3n y posicionar las masculinidades saludables mediante una feria p\u00fablica. Con diversos stands e iniciativas informativas, queremos que la ciudadan\u00eda ampl\u00ede su comprensi\u00f3n sobre estas masculinidades y que avancemos de las consignas a cambios reales en favor de la justicia reproductiva\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Nilton \u00c1ngelo, soci\u00f3logo especialista en masculinidades e integrante del equipo de Ipas Bolivia.<\/em><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante el 8vo Encuentro de las RMAB, desarrollado el 22 y 23 de noviembre, los j\u00f3venes profundizaron en debates sobre los mandatos tradicionales de masculinidad y el impacto que estos tienen en los v\u00ednculos afectivos, la salud emocional y la participaci\u00f3n en la sociedad. A trav\u00e9s de metodolog\u00edas participativas, expresaron desde sus vivencias la importancia de construir nuevas formas de ser hombre que no reproduzcan violencia ni desigualdad.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<em>En la Red creemos que es importante que los hombres especialmente sean saludables, entendiendo la tridimensionalidad que implica ser una persona sana: salud mental, salud f\u00edsica y salud emocional. Para construir una Bolivia m\u00e1s justa, sin violencia de g\u00e9nero, necesitamos que los hombres se conozcan, trabajen en sus emociones y act\u00faen desde el respeto\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Fernando Villafuerte Zamorano, miembro de la Red de Masculinidades Activas de Tarija.<\/em><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El encuentro concluy\u00f3 con un mensaje de renovaci\u00f3n y compromiso. Las Redes de Masculinidades Activas reafirmaron su papel como actores clave en la promoci\u00f3n de la igualdad, la equidad y la corresponsabilidad. Desde hace casi una d\u00e9cada, Ipas Bolivia impulsa y acompa\u00f1a la consolidaci\u00f3n de estas redes, promoviendo espacios de transformaci\u00f3n donde hombres j\u00f3venes eligen actuar desde la empat\u00eda, el respeto y la justicia social para prevenir la violencia y otros problemas que afectan a sus comunidades.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMe gusta que estos espacios impulsen una masculinidad nueva y alternativa, y que fomenten una convivencia m\u00e1s fraterna en nuestras familias, comunidades, trabajos y estudios. Tambi\u00e9n nos ayudan a educar a otras personas y a compartir estos aprendizajes.
