On October 24, Ipas Bolivia held a meeting that brought together teachers, students, mothers and institutional representatives to share the results and best practices of the concerted quality process, a key space to strengthen the prevention of sexual violence in the educational environment. The activity counted with the participation of the Educational Units “El Para\u00edso” and “Efra\u00edn Vargas Paz”, as well as the Childhood and Adolescence Ombudsman’s Office (DNA) of District 9 of Santa Cruz. <\/p>\n

During the day, participants shared experiences, strategies and lessons learned throughout the process, demonstrating significant progress in the creation of safe, informed and violence-free educational spaces for children and adolescents.<\/p>\n

“We work with many activities and in different ways. We are in charge of making known the Institutional Action Route that is in charge of preventing sexual violence and also Dr. Violeta. We use these spaces in fairs with dynamic games, so that students can play and learn at the same time, being trained by their own classmates… This is thanks to the training we received from Ipas Bolivia. <\/i><\/span><\/div>\n

Socialization spaces and Sexual Violence Prevention Networks in the educational units of Santa Cruz are fundamental to create safe, informed and violence-free environments. These networks allow teachers, students and families to work together, sharing experiences, strategies and good practices that strengthen the prevention of sexual violence. They also encourage the active participation of the educational community, empowering children and adolescents to recognize risk situations and access timely support. <\/p>\n

The event also included mutual recognition among the participating institutions: the educational units thanked Ipas Bolivia for its support in strengthening preventive actions, while the organization presented plaques to the schools and DNA, highlighting its commitment to building safe and respectful educational environments.<\/p>\n

The meeting took place within the framework of the project promoted together with the Embassy of Sweden in Bolivia, reaffirming the joint commitment to a more just, equitable and violence-free society, and opens the possibility of future alliances with more educational units in Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n
